biggles3 , thanks for sharing, it is the first time I see that AD, the Yashica guys had a lot of courage comparing a FR-1 against a LF camera, but with a nice play of words.  BTW, maybe you already know this but there is a Flickr user called yashicasailorboy with some albums entirely dedicated to the Yashica merchandising, here the links: Yashica Sales BrochuresCamera AdvertisementsPlus pictures of several cameras, original packaging boxes and lot of other stuff.

PF You are definitely right about Chris giving me a run for my money - I am a posturing amateur when comparing my paltry kit with his gear... I defer to him as he is undoubtedly the Yashica-Meister among all of us who follow the marque. |
