I had read a lot of positive comments on the EZ-matic back in the late 1960s but never tried it. With the demise of 126 film, that seemed an end to the matter but now that a 35mm adapter is available, it might just be possible. The adapter does not work with all 126 cameras but it's worth checking it out with this little gem.
EZ-Matic
With the option of Auto and aperture priority exposure, a self-timer and flash sync-socket with cold shoe, this is quite a performer on paper. And the reviews heaped praise on the unusual 37mm f2.7 lens.
The build quality is superb but all that metal means that, for a small camera, it is pretty heavy at over 17 ounces (500g).
Oh yes, and it's good to have another of Yashica's flash-cube units; a nice bonus.

I've seen these 35mm/126 "adapters", and it sorta makes sense since the films are the same width -- and there were some very nice 126 cameras made by several companies. Do you know why these "adapters" only work in some 126 cameras? Does it have something to do with how the cameras use the spocket hole?
Very reminiscent of a Yashica Half 17 I used to have.
