I tried fitting my new DX 50/1.7 on my Pentax digital cameras today, and I was disappointed to find that when it is mounted on the K-01 mirrorless, the focus ring doesn't turn all the way to infinity (or the lens doesn't screw in all the way if it's already set at infinity). It seems that the sensor chamber is too low at the top, and the surround of the rear lens element bumps into it as the lens approaches infinity focus.
The good news is that the lens works fine on my K5IIs DSLR. The mirror clears the rear of the lens with no problem, so that's the camera I'm going to use to compare lenses with the 45/1.7 of the Electro 35 G series.

Here's a snap with the DX 50/1.7 on the Pentax K5IIs at a nearby Florida state park last week. The color rendition and sharpness are exactly what I was looking for.

The Yashinon DS or DS-M lenses might be a better fit for the K-01, as the lens does not go as far into the camera as do the DX lenses. I have mirror clearance issues when I try to mount my DX lenses onto my Spotmatic body, but the DS lenses work fine.
