Hi there, I'm trying to fix an old yashica mat 124. The inner lens of the bottom pair of lensen has a sort of milky haze on it... don't exactly now what it is but it's not good. I've treated it as fungus with hydrogen peroxide and ammonia but that didn't work (used it from minutes to hours) tried to use tooth paste, not even a scratch in the "haze"...(nor in the glass ;-) ) can anyone tell me what to do to remove it?

Oh, that looks nasty. Is this on the external surface? If not, then it could be failure of the cement in a bonded pair of elements, which is usually fatal unless you want to spend the money on a professional repair. If it's on the external surface it could be something chemically attacked the lens. I've a couple cameras where something has coated the lens, and I can't find a thing to remove it. Looks like you may have to write it off.
Sorry that this is your intro to the Forum, but we are glad you are here.
