Hi there! A couple of weeks ago I won a bid on Ebay for a Yashica ML 35mm f/2.8 lens, in an almost mint condition, and went out for a test. I've used a FX-D Quartz body with it. #1 #2 #3 Even after doing everything wrong (using expired film and then cross-process it), in the results the lens has demonstrated to be very sharp, with a nice bokeh and no much barrel distortion. With it I have completed the basic kit: 28, 35, 50 and 135... now I would like to add another one between 50 and 135, something like 80/85mm but I think it does not exist, the closest one would be the 100mm, right?

The ML 100mm macro is the best bet in that range. It's more than good enough for general use. It does tend to be one of the more expensive ML lenses, unfortunately.
