I'm keeping an eye on eBay item number: 262835935438 as the price keeps going north...
It's a superb conversion of 2 108MPs with a not-very-exciting pair of Tokina zoom lenses. The quality of the conversion is very impressive and from the look of the bidding war, there are quite a few stereo camera fans out there.
If I had deeper pockets, I'd join the fray just for the sake of curiosity as I've never handled a stereo camera...

I've seen photos of that rig before, probably in a PetaPixel article or something of the sort. Very nice work on the melding of the two top and bottom pieces, and the new film door. I wonder how long it took to get the frame spacing correct.

Impressive work joining those 2 bodies, very good quality... but really worth it?, I mean... wouldn't be cheaper and less complicated to get 2 identical bodies and lenses, and do something like this?

The famous RBT company also did a 109 Stereo, I remember that Franz Allmendinger was very helpful when I was doing the big Yashica chart. There was also a FX-3 Super 2000 There are links on the internet to FX-103 and FX-D Stereo cameras too. Some nice engineering being done here.

Hi Marc
I was told about this camera back in 2003 by an enthusiast in Australia, while I was working on my Yashica Family Tree Chart. He supplied the photo too. He traced the camera back to a German gentleman called Franz Miller (Muller) operating out of Leutkirch.
After a little correspondence with Franz Miller, he told me he made such cameras from 1990 until 1994. I think RBT started production around that time so the Miller (Brothers) moved on to other 3D projects.
Yes there are a few links to FX-103 and FX-D based stereo cameras.
