Nice collection. I think that the 35 is the prettiest of the fixed-lens Yashicas.

Jim, your collection is great. I see you are a rangefinder person I didn't knew about about the M5, looks good. Mike, you know the Electro 35 is one of the building block of this universe

I agree, Adrian. But I was referring to the original Yashica 35 on the far right.

I agree, Adrian. But I was referring to the original Yashica 35 on the far right. I have not used one but I always think they look very Contax inspired long before the official Yashica Contax line up.

Very nice grouping, Jim. Those M5's are hard to come by.

Wow. The world of Yashica in one page. I have a long way to go. If you don't mind I will put a link on the home page.

Holy cow, even the near mythical Electro 35-based Oral Eye camera in the collection? I have never seen one of those for sale.

I'm only 196 behind you, Jim. A transparent Samurai X3.0! Never knew those existed.

It's been more then two years since I visited this forum. I moved an my collection is still (most part of it) in boxes. Didn't have much time to update the photopage I made. New to the collection is a M-3, some radios and also a Yashica record player/radio. A tape recorder is coming soon :-)

Good to have you back again! Your main page is still a very impressive sight! That is quite a collection....I was particularly pleased to see that you have an Oral Eye - have you been able to use it and if so, how did you get along with it?
I saw one on Ebay last year but sadly it was in the US and after EU import duties and 20% VAT were added, I could not justify the cost. As I have the Yashica DX 100mm Dental lens and the Yashica M35 microscope camera along with various Contax RTS Fundus, CGCM and M35W bodies, the Oral Eye is a real gap in the scientific/medical category. I'm very curious about close focusing using a rangefinder body...
