Maybe is not a secret but I learned for a friend how to have perfect flat film after developing and I want to share that for the forum colleagues who don’t know about it.
After you take of the film from the tank spiral, just let it for some 5-10 minutes to dry in the room and after that when is still wet, put it back upside down on the tank spiral, with the emulsion to exterior. Take a hair dryer and dry it while is in the spiral by giving hot air from sides.
When dry take it off and cut it in 4-6 frames accordingly to your scanner.
You will have perfect flat negative…. No more scanner issues.

That sounds like a good technique, Dragos. I'll have to try it if I ever get back into developing my own film.
