On my Flickr page there is an Album of photos taken with my ML lenses (50mm f1.7; 28mm f2.8; 80-200mm f4). I think they are an example of the quality of Yashica lenses (not of the quality of the photographer, that is definitely missing!).
I hope someone could enjoy it.

For some reason, your link to the photos is not working - are you able to correct the problem? I'm looking forward to seeing your images.

It still wasn't working--for me, anyway. So I copied and pasted it into the URL line of my browser. When I did, some odd box characters and spaces appeared in it. I deleted them, and it worked. Here's the copy of the URL from that page: www.flickr.com/photos/110391080@N03/sets/72157645223975312/. Very nice shots, Alessio. I especially like the beautiful portraits made with the 50/1.7 and "When you're smiling . . . ," made with the 80-200/4. Noel

Interesting to see that you took it with a 109MP, which is one of my favourite Yashicas. Michael

I tink that the 50m f17 is a real gem: I can compare it with the Zeiss Planar T* 50mm f1.4 and I think that the Yashica is very close to this latter in terms of tridimensionality and quality of the bokeh. I find the Zeiss to be better just in terms of sharpness. The 80-200mm is another outstanding lens. I’m discovering its quality only now, because I used it rarely in the past. It has a “zeiss personality" that I love so much: well microcontrasted, great 3D effect at full aperture, beautiful colors rendition. I will post some recent shots to show you what I mean.

Tanks gentlegiant.
The 109MP is not my favourite Yashica, because I love more the “full-mechanic ’70 style” Fx-3 super 2000, but the 109 is quite useful for its AE-program, so I usually carry it with me when doing street photography and in every case I need more rapidity and promptness. What I more do not feel comfortable with is that plastic feeling the 109 gives… but it is anyway a very good camera, with a very accurate lightmetering system and a very precise shutter.
