Hi! I recently purchased an FX3 2000 Super with a Yashica ML 35-70mm F/4 lens ( this model). During cleaning maintenance, I dismantled the last part of the lens (where it says MACRO, 2, 3, etc.), trying to access the last lens. Now when I turn it to the macro direction (counterclockwise) the last part simply detaches from the lens as a whole ( see the video). Could anyone tell me what I went wrong? Shouldn't I have taken the last part apart? Is there a repair? The funniest thing is that I reassembled everything with "certain" ease. The entire lens is working with the exception of this "detail".

Hi bruno and welcome to the Forum! The lens with which you are having difficulties is definitely not the ML 35-70 f4 as it has no macro function. You have the much later, ML 35-70 f3.5-4.8 Macro lens. It was supplied as a kit lens with the FX-3 Super 2000 in a number of markets. I am not aware of anyone who has attempted to disassemble one of these and I only have a single copy of this lens so can't risk taking it apart to see if I can surmise the problem you have encountered... It is probably not worth sending it for professional repair and re-collimation unless you are particularly fond of using it; it would be less costly to buy a replacement. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful to you; perhaps someone else can...

Hello, biggles3! Thank you for the welcome. I managed to fix it. I had simply put it together wrong. The lens, despite having many small parts and screws, is extremely simple once you understand it. And really, it's not the Yashica ML 35-70mm F/4, it's similar to this one (Yashica ML 35-70mm f3.5-4.8): lens-db.com/yashica-ml-35-70mm-f35-48-c-1988/If anyone ever has the same problem, please contact me, I don't know exactly how to explain the assembly step by step, but I could help.

The lens you indecate inthe link is actualy a Cosina lens, very common with diferent apparences. It was the lens that Nikon FM10 and Nikon FE10 include in the initial kit.
