If you like the rest of the DX line, then I think you'll love the 35mm f/2.8 Auto Yashinon. You might have a couple of problems in getting one though... as they are scarce, and they can be pricey. So pricey in fact, that they can be listed at the Zeiss Distagon level, or higher, for the same focal length and speed. The ML 35mm 2.8 is in a similar state of scarcity and price. As far as performance goes, they are in a class of their own that, IMHO, exceeds their sibling wide angle lenses overall. A few samples should give you an idea, and there are several in a topic on the MFLenses forum, here: forum.mflenses.com/yashinon-dx-2-8-35-t71646.html

The 35 mm f2.8 should arrive tommorow. It was priced at 44 EUR (48 USD). The condition ill see when it arrives. Seems to be well used but usable with clean lenses and working

Seems to be well used but usable with clean lenses and working I'd consider that to be a very fair price, and considering what one of them has been recently listed for, from Japan ( at USD $239.61 + $45 shipping), and recently sold for, from Spain ( USD $76.14 + 15.45 shipping) ... I think you got a nice bargain. As you note, it all comes down to what you actually have in your hand. The good news that I've found is that the M42 Yashica lenses seem to arrive in better condition glass-wise than some of the earlier Pentamatic bayonetts, or the later ML variants. That could just be a matter of luck too, but hopefully it will happen the same for yours.

35 mm did arrive now. The lenses look very clean, it has some small scratches but not on the glass/lenses itself. The print looks almost new. Had aged very good. Hopefully a good one, need to test it tommorow...

bluedxca93 ... From the looks of the slight 'swirliness' of the smooth and creamy background bokeh, it certainly seems to match those characteristics as-found by other users. Focus looks crisp where it's needed, and nice color and contrast too. IMHO, it was well worth the 44 EUR. This might seem like an odd suggestion at first blush, but consider using this as a portrait lens, with some creative framing adjustments to get you there. Some samples of the possibilities are presented in Adolfo Rozenfeld's portrait gallery on Flickr. In his case he's using a Zeiss Distagon 35mm f/2, and it has similar qualities that he has really used to great effect.
