I'm not exactly a major watcher of new products, so I'll admit I miss something relevant from time to time... but this time it seems there's a major burst of Yashica AF adapters that blew right by me. Most of them are for the major makers, and come in the popular crop mounts too. FotoDiox has 11 different models that give aperture control to their capabilities, and not all of them are 'focal reducer' types with additional optics. The last time I looked they only had 2 models - The Sony E-Mount and Canon EOS. fotodioxpro.com/search?type=product&q=Yashica+230+AFIt also looks like they have added more to their C/Y and Contax G line too, but that strikes me as a normal progression to keep up with the newest mirrorless mounts where presumably users would like to adapt Zeiss T and Yashica lenses, but I'm wondering if they see something in the Yashica AF lenses that they've decided to make a much bigger splash in the pool for...? I think that many of this forum's users are aware that there's some nice AF glass and it's not really news to us, but it's curious that it's exploded lately. There's even one to convert to C-Mount!

Thanks lumiworx for the information and link. I've been using their m4/3 version for a few years and the aperture control is still working perfectly. To date I've only been using it with the 50mm and 60mm lenses. I have an old Canon EOS 6D and fancy trying that adapter with the focus confirmation chip on the 24mm and big zooms - hopefully vignetting will not be an issue on it.
