The Yashica 12 manual says that to charge I need to turn the crank counterclockwise "all the way". What does "all the way" mean? How many turns do I do? (There doesn't seem to be a stopping point.)

Welcome to the Forum! You don't mention if you've loaded film but the crank will continue to rotate once the camera recognises it has reached the end of a roll; how many exposures are showing as having been taken?

To add to biggles3 answer, with specific detail... 360 degrees or one full revolution, equals "all the way". The crank will disengage the gear once the film frame is fully advanced, and it will always be disengaged if you crank in the reverse direction. That allows for the handle to be spun back and repositioned, flipped over, and returned to its storage position - i.e., with the finger post inserted into the hole.
