While searching for some unrelated paperwork, I've stumbled across 5 rolls of film that I'd completely forgotten about. They are all exposed (one 35mm cart, and four 120's), and all are identified by their brand - except one roll, which has nothing but the unprinted black backing paper visible. It has been several years, and I honestly don't remember much about their photo content, let alone when/why they were tucked away. My first guess is that the all-black 120 roll could be Shanghai GP3 100 ASA, but it would be great if someone could confirm that, assuming you've used some and know the packaging/paper it uses.
If it's still unknown, then I'll probably send it in for processing anyway and mark it as GP3. I'm no longer set up to do my own processing to snip off the tail to test, but I suppose since I haven't missed the shots thus far, the cost of dipping a single roll will teach me to pay attention!

Maybe you could add some pics here of the unprinted black backing paper, since now it is possible to search by image in the most common internet search engines... you never know what it could find.... let's give AI a chance

The spool and backing are solid black, and if it wasn't for the scrap of white tape I used to keep it intact for shipping, there's nothing to be recognized by man or machine. I still have some GP3 in the freezer, but I'm not prepared to thaw one out to open and check it. Ah well... It looks like I'll roll the dice for a $7 gamble that it's Shanghai 120/100.

I did a quick search for images of Shanghai GP3 120/100 rolls, and the majority show all black backing paper with a plain white tape, only a few with a white tape stating "120 film" or some Chinese characters. Only some other lomography 120 were showing all black backing, but with a big tape with the logo.
