This is Yashica's superb Electro 8 LD-6 camera for Super 8mm film.

The camera uses a very nice Yashinon-DX 8-48mm f1.8 lens. It uses 6 AA batteries, located in the grip, to power the motor, zoom and CdS meter.
This model was produced in the early- to mid-1970s.
