This is a pretty rare find - a NIB copy of the Yashica Splicer dating from 1967. Yashica SplicerDesigned for splicing 8mm film, this is remarkable in that it has never been used and must have been stored very carefully as everything is factory fresh. Yashica film splicers are not that common but to find one with its original box and instructions sheet is a truly unexpected pleasure. It seems almost a shame to put it to its intended use but mercifully I have a couple of other splicers; plus a lot of 8mm and Super 8mm film shot by my uncle in Africa in the early to late 1960s that needs editing... The coming winter should be fun.
