Hello everyone
I have a Zeiss 35-70/3.4 with a wobbly front group, which in other forums has been linked to a broken nylon bushing inside the lens. I'd like to replace this bushing but can't find much information on the lens.
Does anyone have access to a repair manual / a disassembly guide / or has tackled this lens themselves?
Thanks in advance! Marius

I have no issues with mine and have never contemplated any type of disassembly, so I have no first-hand knowledge on what's needed, but here's a forum post on the MFLenses site that I found on the same or similar issue. It contains some details on a fix and a couple of shots of the lens teardown and the placement of the nylon bushing. forum.mflenses.com/contax-zeiss-vario-sonnar-35-70-f3-4-front-lens-wobble-play-t62517.htmlIt looks like there's no real need to expose internal workings, and just removing the outer grip rubber gives access to the bushing - with only a simple straight bit screwdriver needed for exchanging it with a suitable replacement. I have my doubts if you'll find a factory made part for the job, so it may need to be a reworked part from another donor lens or a DIY part to effect a repair.
