It was impossible to resist this lovely early Yashica M42 SLR - the redoubtable Reflex 35 from 1961. What made this purchase worthwhile was the condition of the camera which is near flawless and the fact that it was supplied with its working clip-on light-meter. Reflex 35 w MeterThe leather case was an additional bonus. The shutter speeds seem to be in order, even the slowest ones. For a camera that is now 60 years old, that is pretty impressive; the meter did not even need to be re-calibrated. It's seen paired with a DS-M 55mm f1.2.

Great find, everything looks brand new, not very common to find a leather case in such condition. How much weights the whole set with the f/1.2?... not for the weak.

It's 1,111g without the case - add a further 132g for the case. As you rightly suggest - hardly a light-weight! But as its condition shows, it was built to last - no such thing as planned obsolescence in those days...
