Greetings all. I am delighted to find these forums. I am a long time Yashica user, starting with an FX-2 that was my dad's about 28 years ago. I still have it along with it's companions, a Yashica Mat 124G, another FX-2, FR1, FX-3 Super 2000 and a TL Super. I recently restored my dad's old MG-1. I have shot a little of everything, but I have rediscovered my love of Yashica and am slowly getting them all restored back up to spec. Glad to be here.

Welcome to the forum, Bobby. Sounds like you have a good start on a collection. There is plenty to choose from when it comes to Yashica cameras, even a couple of LTM models.

Thanks! I have only recently discovered the LTM models. How well regarded are they? I haven't had much time to research them.

The YE is basically just a rebadged Nicca 33, but the YF is a slight redesign of the Nicca III L. Both very nice cameras (I have a Nicca III S, and a Yashica YF). The Nicca III series is very well regarded as equal to, or slightly better than the Leica III series. The YF is more known for having both company names on it (Nicca and Yashica), and for being in short supply, as less than ten thousand were ever made. It has bright frame lines in the finder for 35, 50, and 100mm lenses. corsopolaris.net/supercameras/nicca/nicca.htmlPF
