Oh yes. It's the north ocean and quartz sand, weather too.
I could try to get some of the same feeling from the Lake Michigan shore.

On second thought, Lake Michigan lacks any tides and tidal flats. This scene is maybe irretrievably different from the more domesticated State of Michigan.
