This is a very elegant camera, Yashica's aperture-priority, coupled rangefinder - the MG-1.
It's quite a big beast - but its proportions are most pleasing; that being said, it's no lightweight at 620g (appx. 1lb 6oz).
MG-1
With its slower lens, it is often referred to as the 'poor man's Electro 35' but that slightly demeans what is a very competent camera in its own right. Most websites position it alongside the Electro 35 series as the last in the line. Some of the early models actually carried the Electro symbol though my one does not.
You can get a better appreciation of its size, or perhaps simply the diminutive nature of the ME-1, from the piccie below.

They are very different cameras but imho both are worthy of the Yashica name.

It is true that is big and heavy but those are compensated by the great usability and sharp lens. I do not know if I would recommend to buy one when Yashica has other RF cameras with the same or similar lens and less bulky.
