Check. There is visible glare effect. My Digital Rebel entirely blew out the highlights on this scene, so I was trying for the normal parts of the scene.

Cheap lens hoods vignette on this 45mm lens. So I had given up years ago. There is a seller on eBay that goes by the name of heavystars who sells a hood that is almost an exact match to the original. It's called a wide angle 55mm, but it has the same 18mm depth of the Yashica one. I got one so I wouldn't ding up my original, and no one I know has complained about theirs. Give it a try. PF

Thanks, I don't always photograph events. The Electro metering is easier to use than on my digital Canon cameras. Those need minus two exposure compensation to properly capture a ColorChecker card. Attachments:
