I freely confess to loving the image quality of the early, non-compact versions of the ML telephotos.
I managed to grab this lovely old ML 200mm f4 from West Yorkshire Cameras for a very reasonable price.
It's the 924th in the Yashica production line and shows the DSB-style rubber grip. My compact ML 200s show a bit of CA when used on a digital camera but this one does not and the images are sharp edge-to-edge. If you can accept the extra length of the lens, it's not a bad choice and tends to cost less than the later, smaller version.
