Hi Forum,
i'm looking for ages, to find a decent Yashica/Kyocera Eyecup, for two of my FR1, and also the Contax 139 Quatz, the one on my 167mt is also being damaged, it does have a cut, this is since decades so. As replacement, i've figured out, that the usual Pentax FR Eyecup does match the proportions of the Yashica Viewfinder, that Eyecup doesn't block the light that good, but it could being had 3rd party very cheap, via Aliexpress.

If you're looking for the rectangular-ish Eyecup FX-3, there are alternatives... ilovefilm... BTW.. the rectangular Canon eyepiece mentioned that works on every Yashica or Contax C/Y mount body that can use them, is the "Eyecup EF". Its the same eyepiece used on a Rebel X/XS/XSi film camera. The "EG" version or the "EP-EX15" or any of the other 'extended' versions won't work either. These aren't an exact match to the FX-4 or FX-5 models on RX/AX/ST/etc., but match the earlier FX-3's and other eyepieces. I ordered 5 last year from Hong Kong for $1.99, and they worked great. Here's an ebay seller in china - 5pcs, $1.99, free shipping I should mention that the Chinese knockoffs are a little bit thinner rubber than the OEM's from Canon or Yashica/Contax.

Thanks much, but your link goes to nowhere on ebay here, Lumiworx. I'm looking exactly for the Kyocera F-3 named Eyecup.
This is the Eyecup.

A seach on ebay for Canon eyecup EF shows 412 results. Some are OEM - some aren't. These fit, and are still being made by Canon and others.

Sorry, that doesn't help here. The Canon Ones are bad, tried different Ones, i do need only the F-3 Kyocera, as shown. But not for 20 EUR alone, which is being insane. At least one Freak on Ebay asked just for this price.

Thanks Peter, i do have the round Rubber Version (Contax Original), but the thing is, with the F-3, you don't need to always push the Eyecup off, and on again, when exchanging the Film. Nope, i don't shoot that much, but the F-3 is perfect for later Contax SLRs, like the 139/159/167 Series, and also Aria, S2(b), etc.
