Im trying to imagine for this reason how to develop and print a film on Mars, stranded on a desert island, after an apocalypse, or in the jungle... first.
wasn't FX-3 Super 2000 just rebranded cosina ?

Im trying to imagine for this reason how to develop and print a film on Mars, stranded on a desert island, after an apocalypse, or in the jungle... first. I think the major problem would be the availability of water and then the disposal of the used chemicals and water, it would not be ideal to start a new life already poisoning the environment, but in theory for this game all the chemicals, film and accessories are provided, only need to choose a camera/lens combo. wasn't FX-3 Super 2000 just rebranded cosina ? I believe it was originally made by Cosina for Yashica, and then rebranded, there is a thread in this forum with some rebrand examples.

... wasn't FX-3 Super 2000 just rebranded cosina ? I may be mistaken, but it may not have been officially confirmed by Yashica themselves that Cosina made them - but - it's generally accepted to be the likely scenario that they were made under contract for Yashica as a limited exclusivity deal. After X years, they were free to use the design to license them for others to sell under their respective brands. I should point out that the original 1979 FX-3 (not the 'Super' or the Super '2000') looks to be 100% Yashica made. It is an entirely different animal than what came after it, as it's primarily metal, highly crafted, and with a solid 'in-hand' feel.

My standart Yashica is: FX3 Super 2000, Yashica ML 50 F2, or ML 35-70 (the small metal one, variable aperture) or Yashica FR-I with Yashica ML 35/2.8, or Distagon 35/2.8 MM. Personally, the FX3 always does work, the FR1 only with batteries, i do like the FR1 much more, but it's heavier, and the FX3 saved me here & there the day, when the battery was depleted. Besides them, i do like my Contax RTS, RX, 139, and Minolta XD7.

or the remote possibility of a deadly pandemic outbreak?
does the fact of a future reading the above thread bother you knowing what you know now?
In the face of a disaster I would call people taking the time to determine which items to keep "casualties" ?

Well, it is not an end-of-the-world situation, but during all these months of pandemic and quarantine I went out only once to finish a roll that was started long ago, so my weapon of choice was a Yashica TL Electro-X ITS, the lenses were an Asahi Super-Takumar 55mm f/1.8 and a Pentacon MC 135mm f/2.8, I do not have any Yashica M42 lenses (I know, shame on me!).
