Hallo everybody, I'm new in there! I recently bought a Minister III for almost no money: lightmeter is well working (that is the teasing thing) but, on the other hand, one blade of the diaphragm has fallen, and it is seenable trough the lens. My aim is to open, clean and repair. If I fail I will have almost no money loss, BUT, if I will succeed I will own a fantastic old-fashon piece, fully working, and I would be proud of my skills!!! Anyway, I'm now looking for tips: what to do and, mostly, what to avoid; as I'm going to open it where to lubrificate and clean, and which lube I could use (I already know moebius, but which one?) Is there, somewhere, a repair handbook? I've found nothig around the net, execpt here: www.kyphoto.com/classics/yashicaminister.htmlThnk You!!!

Welcome to the Forum, pavopavan!
Yeah, cheap cameras sometimes mean more expenditure for repair. The Ky-Photo article is pretty good at dealing with the aperture blades, which you don't normally see problems with. The only thing that needs lubrication is the focus helical, and a high grade synthetic like Super Lube should do the trick. You don't want any oil on or near the shutter or aperture, as they were built to run dry.
