Hello! I just bought Yashica fx-103 and there are some problems, First of all, the button to change ISO is clicked in, i can't unclick it or anything, the iso ring goes smooth. The second problem is light meter, no matter what im looking at at the moment, it's always saying overexposure, even on the P AE etc. What should i do?

Welcome to the Forum.
The ISO lock button may just be stuck. You can try freeing it up by jiggling it with a safety pin. If that doesn't work, then it could be the spring that holds it up is either broken, or misplaced. The meter reading could be a number of things, from bad batteries, to a bad photo cell. I'd try replacing the batteries first with some fresh cells.
If neither problem is fixable by these suggestions, then it should be looked at by a repair shop. Might not be worth fixing, as replacing the whole camera could be less expensive in some situations.
PF
BTW: I deleted your other post as there is no need to duplicate posts in more than one section. This one was more logical to keep as it has to do with a needed repair.

You don't look for social interactions if you go to the hospital emergency room, do you? Part of our being members of this forum is to be able to help others with their Yashica camera gear problems. Not everyone is comfortable with sharing personal information right off the bat. It might be his first Yashica, so there isn't a lot to tell us about, like his favorite camera, or what lenses he has. It can wait. PF

PF One can do both at the same time, like in the example from my previous post, and no personal details are required more than a name. I understand what you are trying to say with the Emergency Room analogy, but does not apply here, we are not dealing with a life threatening situation, and if one have time to open more than one thread about the same issue, then more than enough time to say: hello, name, please and thank you. It is not about helping or asking for help but how, simple basic manners, and what I am saying is not new, it is called "Netiquette", but if we have reached the point where is needed to debate something basic like this, well... then please forget about what I've said.

I understand all about netiquette, Arial. I also recognize it's a long row to hoe trying to police the Internet. You could have just asked qtazlord whether he has other Yashicas, or something of the like to get a conversation started. Instead he/she might not feel so inclined to return to the forum if they are going to get the third degree every time. They might just be starting out in film photography, and the last thing we should do is make them feel unwelcome. PF

ok so basically i was in 3 photo services, 2 of them refused to fix it, the cost of repairing it is 100pln (25 euro), is it worth considering i bought it for 25 euro + 25 shipping? Should i try to resell it?

Also, betteries are new, a man in a photo service checked electronic part on the bottom of the camera, he took the plate of and said it's ok, does it help you to diagnose it in any way?

Let's see, you're 50€ into the camera plus shipping, and it would cost another 25€ for repair, being a total of 75€. If you could find another one for the same cost of the first one, then you'd be 100€ in total cost, a net loss of 25€.
You're not going to be able to get much for it in its current condition if you are honest in describing it to a potential buyer. I don't know how many lenses you have in CY mount, and obviously if you didn't have any to start with, at least one came with the camera (which lens?). But if you have other lenses, then you are vested into the system, and might as well get the camera repaired.
The metering problem will only be fixed by going in from the top, as the meter circuitry surrounds the pentaprism. That sticky ISO lock button would also be accessed/fixed at the same time.
I guess Yashicas are not very plentiful in Poland, but you could always keep a look out for another one in estate sales. Other models to consider are the FX-2 and FX-3 Super/Super 2000 (great mechanical bodies, no automation though). And there are the FX-107, -108, and -109 to consider. Lots to think about, but how many times will you have to chase down another FX-103 until you get one that is working? Might as well get the one you have fixed. And if you bought the camera through eBay/PayPal, you might have some recourse to recoup part or all of your money for being sold something that was not in good condition as advertised, but you would have to start a claim pretty soon.
