xkaes , you are not crazy, at least not because this camera, it seems to be an original model and was discussed before in the following thread: colour-crazy PS: I have to say that the camera matches the carpet you have there...

Yeah, I don't believe they were sold in the US, but it's all original. BTW, that's the same color I picked for my bathroom rugs (NOT the camera color!).

It's not my camera -- and it's not my carpet! Someone bought it from someone in Japan. He sent me the pictures and wanted to know if it was real or fake. He bought it, but does not have it yet. I have no idea what he paid for it. He promises to send me additional pictures when he can. Since this is real, I assume that the Z, ZL, and Z2L also came in similar colors.

There were other variants in the series too. Apart from red and cyan "highlighted" versions of the 1988 X3, there were two other "specials" that I know about. The "See-through" X3 and the Grand Prix 88 Gold X3 I've never seen any other model in the series in the multi-colour yellow/green/red guise other than the Z2 you've shown Cheers, Bob. Attachments:

The see through Samurai would be great to add to anyone's collection. Especially mine.

I like the "See-through hands" stand for that camera - not easy to see in that photo, but if you look closely ........
