Hello All, Some time ago when purchased a Yashica Lynx 5000, the previous owner sent the camera with some extras and among them was this 54mm ring:   Anyone has an idea of the purpose of that ring?, too short to be a lens hood, screw only on one end so does not seems to be an adapter... |

It's not a Series filter holder, due to the lack of identifying marks, or a female thread. It could be the end of a lens barrel that accepted push-on filters and hoods.
