You won. I surrender. AND I HATE YOU! But seriously--nice Leica III you got there (and I can tell it wasn't made in Vodkagrad either)... I can't quite make out the other one though. Michael

The second one is a Canon IVF, with the Serenar 50/1.8. Both are very recently back from a CLA. I think that the Canon is the better of the two. That is a black Yashica GX hiding at the back. Your Rolleicord is much prettier than mine, though.

*hehe* Guys, I can't get envy of your gear, I admire them and I'm happy for you.
Is there any Yashica like quality/price cameras out there?

I don't envy anyone's camera ownership. As long as they use them.
My TLR list:
Rolleiflex K4A (aka 3.5-MX)
Yashica 635
Ricoh Super Ricohflex
Argus Seventy-Five, and Super Seventy-Five
And two Zeiss Ikoflex IIa's that I need to make one out of

My Zorki 1D is in parts at the moment, waiting for me to re-curtain it. It will be good practice for the day the FED 2C arrives.

PF I'm looking forward to seeing your documentation of this re-curtaining job, Phil, as I have a Zorki 1d with torn shutter cloth myself but haven't had the courage to take it apart yet... Here's an inventory showing the individual parts: The FED 2c is a nice one as well. My favorite source of reference for 35mm commie cameras is this: Soviet CamerasIt's in German, but the technical details ought to be self-explanatory. Michael

That's a good link, Michael. I can even understand most of the strangled Google translation. And that "exploded view" of the 1D will help when I take mine down a few more steps. It's only apart as far as taking the shutter crate out, though I've stripped the body in anticipation of ordering a new skin from aki-asahi.com/store/ PF ps: Loved the "closet space" story. And I learned the difference between a D and an E (newer shutter speed settings on the E).
