At last! The primes are complete and I now also have all the Yashica zooms except the 35-70 C.
It took a while to find that superb 60mm but it arrived today and I'm delighted to say that it's in mint condition. Initial tests show that is worthy of its awesome reputation...

Finding a 60mm AF macro at a reasonable price these days requires excellent connections either to a bunch of beneficent fairies or to organized crime... Congratulations, Graham!

Finding a 60mm AF macro at a reasonable price these days requires excellent connections either to a bunch of beneficent fairies or to organized crime... Congratulations, Graham! Thank you for your congratulations but you are not wrong! They required me to surrender my first-born in return for the lens... Still, a worthy sacrifice .
I was lucky - there's one listed on an Austrian site for 200 Euros and mercifully they never bothered to reply to my enquiry. Then, while going onto Ebay at 3am local time (normal time to catch both Asia and North America), up popped the 60mm in Germany for a lot less than that other one and although the listing gave you the opportunity to 'Make an Offer', there was no way I wasn't going to hit that 'Buy It Now' button!
The lens is fabulously sharp BUT I worry about the long extension of the front optics as I suspect the slightest knock would cause permanent damage to the thermoplastic barrel.
As for that Sigma 400mm - I have one in a C/Y mount and although it's pretty sharp, its build quality is a but suspect. I'll wait for an AF version that's under a £100 delivered before I consider spending my paltry pension money on a lens I don't need...(OK, admittedly, that's never stopped me in the past). Sigma also made 28-70, 35-70 and 70-210 zooms for the Yashica AF system in addition to the Yashica-branded Power Zooms and of course there are a couple of lenses that have only Kyocera branding on them which I suspect were Sigma-made. But I think that in terms of assessing the Yashica AF system, I'm happy where I am... I'm not going to bother with the 200AF and I have one final consignment of AF gear on its way from the USofA and that should be the end of it.
The next and more important thing will be to report on the lenses, cameras, etc to the Forum.

I've gotten some of those Sigma AF lenses in Yashica mount before. They all reside in the junk pile.
