I own a Pakon F135 Plus and it is fast, very.
The WB is also very good, mainly with Kodak films (best with Kodak Color Plus 200) It has good definition.
Bad news is that it is not supported anymore, so in case it breaks you won't find spare parts for repair. Also it runs on XP only and the PSI program is kind of an "ugly" and weird application.
Max resolution is 6 Mpx, which is more than enough for common web use and small prints.

Hi i dont use a scanner all i do is use a light box. fix the neg flat on a light box set up my Nikon D3100 with my Macro lense and tripod. focus on the neg shoot done then inport picture in to picasa chose crop and rotate. then invert image and ther you have it a nice positive image that you can play with simples.... john

Scanners are for only one purpose when the camera can do both withput limitation of format, I can scan a 8x10 negative, that is not possible with a film scanner. For the post-process I use a combination of Linux + UFRAW or Darktable + Gimp
