Finally found one at an attractive price, and on sale last night too. Should be here sometime next week, and I'll update this post with photos.

I sold mine about six months ago. I did not know that you were looking for one. Beautiful camera, maybe the nicest classic Barnack copy that one can realistically afford to use.

Thats' okay, Mike. I'm always looking for certain cameras, but it has to be the right combination of is it on my radar at the moment, and is it a bargain? Then I also go through periods where I question why do I need so many film cameras.
One thing I like about a Nicca is they are more reliable than a Leica of similar style, so you don't have everyone immediately telling you it needs to be sent in for an overhaul before you've even got it in your grubby palms. I think it will also break me of buying FSU stuff.
Happy New Year to ya!

The IIIs arrived today, and though the rangefinder is good with all the lenses I tried on it, the slow shutter speeds are a problem. Only the 1/20 works, all the rest are like T. Minor issue I may sort out during the winter, but not really important at the moment. I dug out the Prinz film cutting guide also, and will have a go at trying the camera out in about a week (after all the snow storms, and cold spells have passed). I have Nikon and Canon lenses for it, and a Leica VIOOH viewfinder for the different focal lengths.

I have yet to use the slow speeds on any Leica or Leica copy.

I have yet to use the slow speeds on any Leica or Leica copy. They are good to have when shooting waterfalls, or any moving water. PF

PF Someday, I will have to actually use one of my small collection of tripods and try that. That would probably be the best way to get a good reflection shot of my favorite bridge, in the creek that it crosses.
