It is a truly stunning lens and is my favourite macro; it's as sharp as the Zeiss 120mm Macro for the Contax 645 which is recognised as one of the best ever made. I had no idea that there is a Mamiya equivalent and that silver appearance is fabulous. However, I'm intrigued by the screw below the aperture setting ring in the last photo of the Mamiya Sekor version; it does not exist on the Tomioka Yashinon lens.

Edit: nvm, I misread. I read somewhere that there's a third rebrand. Propably Sears but can't recall exactly.
You've got to love the double helicoid design on those 1:1 macros (don't know the technical term for this). I recently met a videographer who used Vivitar 55mm 2.8. Not a pretty lens, but the way it moved when focused caught me by suprise.
