Just getting back into film (have darkroom access again and really miss shooting film) and just started rehabbing a Lynx 14e! The Lynx will be my first ever Rangefinder, have only used my old Trusty K-1000 and a Canon AE-1 for serious film cameras, but just form looking through the Viewfinder this Yashica has me hooked;P I'll try and start a repair journal thread here soon of the restoration process of the 14e!

Welcome to the Forum, Trower. And if you need a little guidance on the Lynx, here is my Flickr set on the work I did on mine. flic.kr/s/aHsjz8CrmKPF

I am planning on digging deep, figured I'd rewire, lube, reseal, and the shutter is sticky.....hope I don't have to take the focusing all the way apart, not too sure I'm competent enough to align the focusing with the viewfinder..... One question I have though, from what I could find people were recommending a 1.5v replacement battery, but the ones I took out are 1.35. I know that big of a change in voltage would affect the meter quite a bit, what did you use? thanks, -Nick

I don't use a battery in mine, Nick, because the meter sweeps in the lens barrel are kaput. I just use the Sunny-16 method of exposure calculation.
