No Super Glue, or any other cyanoacrylic type glue as it gases out, leaving a permanent haze on any glass surface it settles on. Something more neutral like Weldbond, or Pliobond (depending on which side of the pond you are on) beaded along the front edge of the mirror should hold it.

I heated my mirror with a hairdryer and slid it back into place with no problem. I won't be taking the FX-3 out in the hot Florida sun again.

I just made a video on putting the mirror back in it's original place so that it doesn't hit the lense anymore. Works for the Yashica FX-3 Super 2000, FX-D, FX-103 and even the Contax 139. Here is the link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihsRtaRJQ2I I hope this can help you!
