Only problems I had with it were a broken meter, and a dim viewfinder. I've got a Cosmorex SE (export version of the Zenit E) to use this year. Likely I'll shoot redscale this time.

I have never owned a Zenit. Soviet cameras seem pretty rare around here, I have never seen one for sale locally, Praktica is the only "sphere of influence" camera that I have ever bought from a local seller. The Helios lens seems nice.

Every once in a while, something will crop up locally, like that Cosmorex. But I usually get my FSU stuff from the online auction sites.
