I recently bought this camera it’s my first rangefinder. Finally got a battery today that works so I’ve had a chance to check it out. I set the exposure control ring to auto. I set the ASA/ISO to 200 the film I usually shoot. The meter still tells me there isn’t enough light the one on top and the light in the viewfinder. I tried to take a picture with a backlight subject, still have same problem. I opened the aperture all the way up and set the ASA to 400 still not enough light. Have I bought a camera with a bad light meter?
Thanks Blair

Thanks guys I’ll check on having the camera repaired or I’ve found another and it’s a Yashica Electro 35 GSN that’s been Refurbished and ready to go for $130.
