So I bought this camera at an auction and everything seems to be working fine except the shutter speed doesn't seem to be changing when I rotate the speed dial, it seems to be a problem with the shutter set but I have no idea where exactly I should look for,
Bulb mode is not working at all.
I opened the camera and removed the mirror box.

Hello herokasper, and welcome to the forum!

There is a repair manual posted in this forum that covers both the FX-3 and FX-7 (the 2nd link in that post). The exploded view in diagram No. 1 shows the entire shutter dial assembly as a starting point to find any failure at the exposed control, and you should be able to follow the attached assemblies 'upstream' from there.
