Hello, I am in the long process of watching and re-watching the movies with Michael Caine as the main character, and this jewel appeared two minutes right after the start of " The Ipcress File" (1965): I am aware that it is not uncommon to see cameras in the movies, but not the Yashica ones, at least in my experience so far. If you know of any others, no matter the brand, please share it here.

Hi Ariel Those are two excellent screen grabs! Well done. Yashica actually used an image of Arnold Schwarzenegger holding one of their cameras (TL Electro?) that I think was a screen grab from the 1970 movie Hercules in New York.

Now that you mentioned it, I remember seeing that picture somewhere in the net, and found it after a quick search:

Don't forget Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, in 2 different, " Amazing Spider-Man" movies (2012 & 2014) and his Yashica Electro 35...

Do not ask me how I got this movie, called "Female Trouble" from 1974, but a couple of Yashica Electro 35 showed up in different scenes (a GT and/or GS ?), here are some screen captures: Maybe someone here with a better eye and experience could recognize the flash units, if original Yashica accessories or not.

Ariel ... I'm guessing that grey and black hammerhead flash is one of the Honeywell Strobonar models, and in the blown up images the character counts are equal on what looks to be the name plate, but they're a bit difficult to read to know for sure. I'm even tempted to say the smaller top-mounted flash might be a Honeywell, too.The image has fuzzy nameplates, but it looks like a Honeywell Strobelite 21.
