This is an interesting little plastic camera as it's branded the Carnaval MF-3 Super; only the 38mm f3.5 lens carries the Yashica name. Yashica Carnaval MF-3 SuperProduced in about 1986 in Brazil, this is a cheap, light-weight plastic camera with a fairly basic, fixed focus lens; Yashica's 38mm f3.5 comprises 3 elements in 3 groups. The camera has a fixed shutter speed of 1/125s and the CdS meter controls aperture settings between f4-f22; the aperture is selected by a ring showing symbols for different light conditions. In the basic viewfinder, there is a low-light warning LED which advises you that the flash will fire automatically. The camera requires 2 AA batteries (not Ni-Cd) to power the meter and flash. Images are not the sharpest you'll ever see but contrast is good.
