This is the Yashica 8-ES, a standard 8mm camera which uses a Yashinon 13mm f1.8 lens.

The camera is pretty basic - a single film speed, fixed focus lens, Selenium-powered metering and the motor is driven by 4 AA batteries.
The all-metal body has a two-tone grey, crackled finish which helps with your grip when holding the camera. It is supplied with a lanyard but no hand-grip. Despite the basic specification, the build quality is very good; the camera weighs 1lb 13oz (817g) without batteries.
