Hi folks, Just thought you'd be amused to see one of the few f1.1 lenses to carry the Yashinon name.... Yashinon 13mm f1.1It's the Yashinon 13mm f1.1 - a fixed focus lens comprising 7 elements in 5 groups and is used on Yashica's Super YXL-1.1 camera.

That's a very useful link. I think it's an error. If you check the entries for Kohka, there is no camera shown that is anything like the Yashica. For sure, the lens is a Yashinon and none of the Kohkanon lenses comes anywhere near it. That being said, I suppose it could be that Kohka designed and assembled the camera for Yashica using Yashinon glass; the database lists another apparently Kohka-made Yashica model and also suggests that Cosina may have produced one. There is at least one other Yashica Super 8 camera, much more sophisticated (20XL), that uses a Yashinon f1.1 lens, though that one's a zoom.
