Lovely shots, Mike, especially numbers one and three. These results look as if the DX 50/2 wasn't a keeper ... but a must-have! ;-) Very nice bokeh too.
How do you like working with the TL Super? It may be less advanced than the TL Electro X (shutter, electronics), but I like it still more for its somewhat less chunky look 'n' feel. Too bad the meter isn't working. (I'm having the same problem with a Pentax ESII and a Fujica ST801 which arrived with the mail only this afternoon--both their meters dead.)

The viewfinder is a great improvement over the Electro X, Michael, and I find it much easier to focus because of this. The meter works, but it is several stops off, but who needs a meter anyway, right? And I agree about the lens, the f2 lens is at least the equal of its faster cousins.

[...] who needs a meter anyway, right? Well, it's perfectly fine with me to carry a handheld meter or work by guesstimate when I'm using my Zorkis, FEDs, vintage TLRs or folders etc. But a Pentax ESII with a dead meter is ... well ... just another M42 SLR, automatic exposure being the one and only feature that sets it apart from its competitors. Even worse--without batteries its slowest shutter speed is only 1/60sec. Hence, a case for the local thrift shop... By the way, when it comes to viewfinder quality, the Fujicas reign supreme to my mind. Lovely cameras, too, well built and very light and compact for M42 SLRs (if I may say so in a Yashica forum).
