These Yashica accessories are intended for use with their range, such as it was, of compact digital cameras. On the left is a conventional flexible, mini-pod - nothing unusual there. However, the other support is an odd-ball; it's a combined hard-case and camera support, using a retractable tripod screw that's embedded in the lid of the hard-case. Yashica digicam supportsIt's shown here with a Yashica EZ F827 digital camera that also fits perfectly inside the case which has a pocket for SD cards and a lanyard is provided too. On its packaging, it is branded as: YASHICA innovate: digital I'd never seen this before its arrival today.

That case is very odd! Even the mini-tripod is a little odd, in that it is more usual to have the 3 legs coming out of a cylindrical head, rather than what looks like the linear fashion of the one shown.

They are a bit weird but as you can guess from the Yashica logo, those are from the end of the period of Kyocera's ownership and have a very distant relationship with the once great marque. That being said, they do what they're supposed to after a fashion.

Yes a bit of a blurry period around 2008! With MF Jebsen Group in the picture and approx 6 siblings to that EZ F827 all produced around that year, which of them were Kyocera and which were MF Jebsen?
The strange thing about the dozens of EZ-Digital models that started to appear about 2004 onward are that the designs don't show a lot of uniformity. It would almost make one think that they were being badged and produced elsewhere? In fact they are kind of similar to Brazilian marketed models in some ways, but those Brazil models exhibit a similar lack of design uniformity too! A difficult area to document!
At least with the earlier Finecam "L" and "S" models you can see a clear design connection between the different models.
