...a belated X-mas present... Together with the wonderful ML 2.0/50, with camera and lens being in near mint condition, I reckon that 45 quid is a fair price. A happy new year to you all! Michael

Great.
Can You upload a pic off the inside of the filmdoor? ( I presume the seals aren't gone... So I can see how they are attached to the back.... )
2.0? This camera has a 1.9 50....

Oooops! You're right, of course, tts, it is a 1.9/50. As to your request ... the camera is not in my possession yet as I just bought it. I can take a couple of pics as soon as it arrives.

Can You upload a pic off the inside of the filmdoor? Here you are, tts: It's only those two seals on either end of the film door (apart from the horizontal ones, of course). BTW, when it comes to the latter, I've made good experiences with black woolen thread pressed into the slots (you don't even have to clean them thoroughly as any remaining sticky debris will help to hold the thread in place. Sounds pretty pedestrian, I know, but it works!) Michael

Ik hope to renew the seals and the skin of one of my FX-3s in the next couple of days.

Aah -- I didn't know that, but I guess it figures. Our eastern cousins used to be rather practical-minded...

Hi all long time lurker here drawn out out of hiding by a mint FX3 Super2000. Couldn't help it as I bought one in similar condition and it's a favorite. Just check the mirror hasn't slid down like mine was. Congrats on a nice buy.

What the heck...! I never knew such a version existed. Good for you, and bad for the seller, that he excluded international bidders...

Looks like it was used for a science project, Barry. They just put a mask inside the film rails, so you likely will still be getting the same amount of exposures per roll, unless there was a modification done to the film transport. I'd get a used roll of film (like what you find in a camera that's been sold at a charity shop), and wind the camera while the back is open. Put marks on the film so you can see how far it travels with each winding stroke. And that fixed 1/125 shutter speed might just mean the dial is jammed.

Ha, I missed the fixed shutter speed or I may not have bid!
Never mind, it's worth it for the 50/2 ML alone, particularly as I paid £5 of the £14.30 total in in Nectar points.
